Robyn Wilkes was not only a classmate at Shaker Heights High School but also my roommate at Hampton University (formerly Hampton Institute). She was a ROTC Soror with the Pershing Angels, Co-Ed Affliiates of the Pershing Rifles, and graduated from Hampton in 1976. She is deeply missed along with many other classmates. I will always remember Robyn because she was partly responsible for getting Terry and I together in high school. She was in my social studies class and I mentioned to her that I thought Terry was "cute". His locker was right outside of our classroom. She apparently said something to Terry and then Terry said something to me. The rest is history. We were married for 45 years until he got a much deserved rest on April 4, 2022. I will always remember that Robyn had something to do with us getting together.
